We Built This City on Rock and Roll

Every company is built on values. Whether overtly exclaimed or simply stated through the actions of its members, there are guiding principles that drive the way a company does business. Team members in companies with shared values find that they all hold the same sheet of music in their hands, which makes it a lot easier for them to sing and a lot easier on their clients' "ears," if you catch my drift.

I am fortunate to work for a company that has a defined set of core values and I thought I would share those with you.

1. Absolute Honesty

We understand the priceless value of truth and so we commit to complete, no holds barred, candor. We will say exactly what we mean, being honest even if it is not what our clients and/or coworkers want to hear.

2. Transparent

In our desire to never deceive, we commit to being candid and open with each other here and with our clients. This means explaining why and not just what we are doing when serving our clients and partnering with each other. This means revealing everything; showing the “wizard behind the curtain.”

3. Thorough

We will always, without exception, perform comprehensively and completely. This means paying extreme attention to detail, taking everything into account, and missing nothing. This also means keeping the big picture in mind for each client and for our processes. It also means looking at things from all angles.

4. Stewardship

We will, at all times, act in the best interest of the work entrusted to us by our clientele. This means acting with complete care and responsibility in all that we do.

5. Integrity

We are determined to be incorruptible, always true to our clients and to each other. This means holding fast to sound principles, not straying in times of weakness, but believing in our ability to do great work, no matter what external conditions exist.

6. Respect

We will show regard and consideration for each other here and for our clients. This is evident through our words and actions.
